there’s a snail

who lives outside our place.

we named him slimey.

we try to find him every day.

he’s basically like our new pet snail.

slimey is faster and a little greener than the other snails

(those are his cousins, btw)

that’s how we can tell that it’s him.

when i was real little
i wanted to be a cowgirl when i grew up

but then i grew up a little bit
and realized i wanted to be a ballerina

but i only wanted to be ballerina until
i learned about jane goodall and primates and stuff
then i wanted to be a primate zoologist

now i’m kinda almost grown up
and i’m not even any of those things!

but sometimes i like to put on my cowgirl boots
and my super fancy tutu
and watch some old-timey jane goodall documentaries on vhs

what did you wanna be?!

einstein surgery update: SUCCESS!

here’s ein post surgery:

as you can see, he’s not particularly thrilled about the cone,

but at least he’s got a regular heart now!

the doctor says everything went as well as it possibly could have.

that is good news, btw.

i’m so happy i can’t stop screaming.

today einstein is getting heart surgery!

after our chloe girl went to feast at the all-u-can-eat buffet in the sky,

ein’s heart started actin mega wonky.

the vet says he basically has a broken heart!

i know, i know:

that’s basically the sweetest saddest thing anyone’s ever heard

in the whole history of sweet sad things.

after the surgery he’s supposed to be 100%.

except j says that ein is still gonna be a lil derpy.

there’s no surgery to fix that.

keep your fingers crossed that the surgery is successful, will ya?

one year ago today: so i been living on a diet of easter candy

two years ago today: since j had surgeries cocoa is his nurse

three years ago today: oh you want maths? i’ll give ya maths!
