the week is kinda like riding a slide

May 16, 2013 at 12:16 PM · Filed under cocoa j ·Tagged almost the weekend is not close enough, cocoa is like garfield when it comes to lasagna and mondays, friday could not come soon enough, humpday, they say thursday is the new friday but i don't buy it, things that are kinda like other things, when i go to the park the parents tell their kids to wait for the lady to finish using the slide, yes i try to come up with a raisin to celebrate on every day of the week

weeks and slides are basically the same:

the getting to the fun part seems to take so long

and then the fun part is over in an instant!

wtf amirite?

now we basically have a pet snail

May 9, 2013 at 10:03 AM · Filed under cocoa j ·Tagged bugs, i know a snail is not a bug or an insect but it might as well be, meats no treat for those you eat, no one likes smashing a little snail, pets, rain brings out the snails, snail, usually bug situations are like "SCREAM SCREAM OMIGOD THERE'S A BUG IN HERE SCREAMY SCREAM"

there’s a snail

who lives outside our place.

we named him slimey.

we try to find him every day.

he’s basically like our new pet snail.

slimey is faster and a little greener than the other snails

(those are his cousins, btw)

that’s how we can tell that it’s him.

two years ago today: before visiting frads in alaska, cocoa never even seen a real-life chief singing at the super market

picking what to grow up to be is confusing

May 1, 2013 at 8:22 AM · Filed under cocoa j ·Tagged cocoa has a job, cocoa is the kinda adult that hangs out at that park alone waiting for the ice cream man to wheel on through, don't make me choose, growing up, grown up, i do what i want, i really do have a fancy tutu i take it everywhere it's lived in 6 different states, i wish i was a little bit taller i wish i was a baller i wish i had a girl who looked good i would call her, j says i look just like a cowgirl when i wear my cowboy boots, jane goodall is one of my heroes, jk jk guys now i act like a total grown up

when i was real little
i wanted to be a cowgirl when i grew up

but then i grew up a little bit
and realized i wanted to be a ballerina

but i only wanted to be ballerina until
i learned about jane goodall and primates and stuff
then i wanted to be a primate zoologist

now i’m kinda almost grown up
and i’m not even any of those things!

but sometimes i like to put on my cowgirl boots
and my super fancy tutu
and watch some old-timey jane goodall documentaries on vhs

what did you wanna be?!

one year ago today: j ate all of cocoa’s gummy vitamins
(kinda) two years ago today: the least screamy bug situation ever
(kinda) three years ago today: j & cocoa finally go to the beach!
four years ago today: today, we have a graph:

einstein surgery update: SUCCESS!

here’s ein post surgery:

as you can see, he’s not particularly thrilled about the cone,

but at least he’s got a regular heart now!

the doctor says everything went as well as it possibly could have.

that is good news, btw.

i’m so happy i can’t stop screaming.
